these are the some places where where we stopped for lunch or dinner and really enjoyed it:

NORDEN/NORDDEICH:
PIZZERIEA TROPEA
on the main road from Norden to Norddeich:

tiny restaurant but hell of a good pizza and large selection of dishes

PIZZASTÜBCHEN
in the pedestrian area: 120 Neuer Weg
nice place for a pizza or snack at lunch - my sandwich was delicious and reasonably priced - a small corner and a boy full of toys keep the kids busy
FYI: toilets are outside
PIZZA ITALIA
in a side street to the pedestrian street: Synagogenweg 2
We had a big table for 9 person (2 families) in a corner and were really at ease. The service was nice and friendly, the food was delicious, and the kids played outside in the side street with no traffic.
FRIESENKATE
on the main road to the dyke: Norddeicherstrasse 223
We already had dinner at this restaurant past year on our first evening in Norden / Norddeich. We sat outside, and though we really enjoyed dinner. The inside though wasn't much appealing to me. In search of the toilets we had been shortly inside the restaurant, and all I could see was three tables and plenty of food behind glass display.
After this year's experience, I changed my opinion, because now I got a glimpse of the complete restaurant and it's numerous seatings (beyond the stairs leading to the toilets).
The evening we stopped by to have dinner, the restaurant was full, so that we were offered a table in the dining room on the first floor.
only minutes after we were seated, some more guests arrived, and soon even this dining room was half-full.
My asparagus was delicious, so was my tomato soup and my husband's and kids dishes.
So as said before, last year's opinion was wrong, and this restaurant is worth a visit inside and outside!
GREETSIEL
SIELKÖNIG
nice and cosy restaurant in the heart of Greetsiel close to the port .
Again, very friendly staff and good quality food.

FYI: both restaurants'Greetsieler Börse' and 'Sielkönig' are under the same management and only a few footsteps apart.
and last but not least:
the kitchen at our apartment at the 'Ferienhof Neukämper'
I had promised to prepare a chili sin carne for everybody,
so on the last evening of our family vacation together we had a great diner at the apartment
