I read this book a few years ago, in 2000, and it came back to my mind when my husband grabbed it from my bookshelf a few days ago to read it himself.
That's why I want to present to you now the memoirs written by Neile Adams,
wife of Steve McQueen
from 1957 to 1972.
I always liked Steve Mc Queen, though I only knew little about him. I knew about him being an great actor, being an awesome race driver and a womanizer.
This book by Steve McQueen's former wife is an incredible insight into the life of this famous 'bon vivant'. Showing up his career, his family life and Steve McQueen as a father, his addictions and struggles until the very end.
It's a fascinating book about a fascinating person living his life to the max.
Steve McQueen, glorious person to the outside, tormented man in the inside, unfortunately died already 1980 at the age of fifty.
Great book though by Mrs Neile Adams!
