My love affair with Ireland began the same year than the one with my husband, nearly two decades ago.
I have been to Ireland several times on my own, done a round trip with my husband and visited Dublin twice with my mother.

I even bought my wedding dress @Alexander's Bridal in Parnell Street / Dublin, flew back to pick it up 8 weeks prior to my wedding day.
The dress even had it's own seat booked on the return flight.

.....this year some more great memories will be added as we’re returning to Ireland as a family !
How long did it take to organise this family trip, to book the flights, the car, different hotels and B&Bs and decide with route to take and what to see or do?
Well, it took me less than two weeks....
We had actually thought about spending a summer holiday in Normandy/France or in Austria.
Due to one of my horse's illness, all plans had been put on hold, and it was only two weeks ago, when Rozalie was doing better and finally arrangements had been settled, that I began looking seriously for a place to stay.
I checked availability on the coast in Normandy as well as hotels in Austria, but was shocked about the rental costs.
Then, all of a sudden, sitting in front of my computer late in the evening, I said to myself that instead of spending that much money on a hotel with a view on the coast or the mountains, I could spend the money on exploring the coast and the mountains and on July 5th I booked five return tickets for Dublin, Ireland and started planning a round trip.
As I have been to Ireland and especially Dublin several times before, I had a vague idea what to put on the list, but soon after I started searching the web, it became clear our 9-day round trip through Ireland would look like.
I won't ruin the suspense by telling you the details, so stay tuned and join us on our round trip through parts of Ireland.
All I can tell is: it's gonna be amazing, it's gonna be green, it's gonna be windy, it's gonna be rocky . . . . it's gonna be an awesome trip!
